In The Studio Now, New Album To Be Released February 1

Attention To Record New Album In January, Release Free February 1

Minneapolis rock band Attention will be entering the PoundSound Studios in St. Paul, MN to record a new full length album.

Attention will be making and releasing this record with a unique approach. The band will enter the studio on January 1, 2010 and record and mix for exactly one month. Whatever is finished on January 31 will make the record. The following day, February 1, the record will become available for FREE download at the band’s website (attentionrock.com).

The band is offering an inside look at the making of this record through a streaming webcam, YouTube & Facebook videos, and interactive chats from the studio.

This new release will serve as a companion to the recently released “Everything Takes Forever”, which has been receiving regional radio play, MTV & E! network placements, and an encouraging industry response.

Attention On The Radio 2009!

2009 was a pretty nice year in terms of radio play for the band. We completed a week of victories on KXXR / 93X’s Cage Match, winning the title of Local Cage Match Champion, thanks to our fans stepping up and voting for us! We also finished in the #1 spot on the Top 9 Of ’09 on 93X’s Loud And Local show. Both accomplishments for the single “Whatever Gets You Through The Night”. Our album “Everything Takes Forever” was named Best Local Album Of 2009 by KMSU’s Midwest Beatdown program. We’re also nominated for Minnesota Band Of The Year by WHMH, with results being announced on January 2. Thanks to all of you who took the time to call, email, text and tweet requests in to these stations!

Our song “Quiet Answers” will be featured in E! Network’s 2-hour special, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians: The Wedding”, which will air tonight (November 8th) at 8pm Eastern / 7pm Central.
